Cor Kint

Cor Kint was not an organist, but a viola and violin player by profession.
From 1909 to 1915 he played in the Concertgebouworkest and became a violin teacher at the Conservatorium van Toonkunst in Amsterdam in 1919. Nevertheless, he wrote a considerable number of works for organ and harmonium.

The Fantasy on "A Mighty Fortress" became his most well-known work.
A number of works, for instance the Grande Sonata, remained unpublished.
The Prélude pastoral Op.33 was published by Seyffard's in Amsterdam in 1926 and was dedicated to Willem de Vries, organist of the Grote Kerk in Nijmegen.
