Denis Frémin

Denis Frémin was born on 22 September 1958 in Paris. Here, he began studying the piano at the age of seven. Six years later, he commenced his organ studies at the Conservatory in the fifth district.
Later, he entered the Ecole César Franck and became a pupil of René Saorgin at the Conservatory in Nice, at the time when Pierre Cochereau was its director. During this period, he studied musical notation and harmony with Jean-Louis Luzignan, as well as composition.
When he completed his studies, he received a first Sacem prize.

During his years in Nice, he became more and more interested in organ building, especially in the Italian organs in the neighbourhood. At the moment, he is the main organist of the Eglise du Voeu in Nice.
