Christine Kamp
Christine Kamp (Strasbourg, France, 1966) studied organ at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam under Jacques van Oortmerssen and Ewald Kooiman as well as piano under Ronald Brautigam.
She completed her organ studies under Jan Raas at the Utrecht Conservatory, in addition to church music specializing also in chamber music and 'lied'-accompaniment under Thom Bollen. She attended master classes on the romantic repertoire given by György Sebok and Marie-Louise Jaquet-Langlais.
Both organist and pianist, Christine Kamp has performed in Holland and abroad, and has done recordings for radio, TV and CD. As a soloist, she performed, among other things, at the Utrecht Festival Oude Muziek, in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the St. Bavo at Haarlem and Ste. Clotilde in Paris. Christine Kamp has been organist of the Grote Kerk at Weesp since 1996.
